If we were a Disney Imagineer….Bringing Encanto to Life

This weekend, we finally had a chance to watch Disney’s latest movie Encanto. After the movie ended, I couldn’t help but find myself smiling from pure joy. Disney is continuing its great tradition of powerful storylines, catchy tunes, and inspiring characters. How could you not love Mirabel, and we will be talking about Bruno for days to come. As the movie ended, I couldn’t help but start to think about all the ways that I would love to see Disney Imagineers incorporate Encanto and the Madrigals into Disney World parks.

I am sure they have this one covered, but just in case, here are a couple of ideas for their consideration (Sorry, we can’t help ourselves).

Let’s build a new ride.

We would love to take a ride through the rainforest, desserts, and stunning coastlines. Imagine the real-life feeling of Soaring meets the mystical Na’Vi River Journey. It could be an immersive experience for all generations.

Can we please add Columbia to World Showcase?

There are so many countries we want to see added to EPCOT’s World Showcase, including India, Australia, Greece, South Africa, and so many more. But now we would definitely love to see Columbia added too!

We need more merchandise!

Disney has done a great job with merchandising for Encanto. From, Figure playsets to clothes to dolls and jewelry and stuffed animals. We can’t wait to see what other new items make their way to Shop Disney. May we suggest a new home décor line and may be even dinnerware. We love butterflies and can imagine them appearing on everything.

And, let’s not forget the food.

Oh, my stomach is growling already just imagining the possibilities for tasty treats across the parks. We want to get our hands on cheese arepas and other delicious meals and treats all year round. A new restaurant in the heart of Animal Kingdom would also be perfect.
