Here’s what you need to know about the Disney Dining Promo Card

It’s been a while since we’ve seen anything related to a dining plan at Disney but new this year for a limited time is the digital Disney Dining Promo Card.

Soak up the summer with up to $750 US to spend at select Walt Disney World food and beverage locations. Not everyone is eligible to receive the dining promo card, which essentially is a Disney Gift Card. In order to qualify, you must book a minimum 4-night reservation at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel and have at least 4 park day tickets.

Depending on the dates, the number of nights and hotel you book will determine how much you will receive on your Disney Dining Promo Card.

Here's a look at what you may be eligible for:

July 1-July 10 August 1-September 14

June 25-June 30 July 11-July 31

Deluxe Villa Resorts*

US $150 per room, per night

US $125 per room, per night

*Select Resorts and Hotels, please go to the official Walt Disney World Resort website for full details.

How to use it?

When you check into your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, if you are eligible, you will receive your digital Disney Dining Promo Card in your email.

You may present the email digitally or physically printed at select dining locations across Walt Disney World. Or you can opt to add it to your mobile device wallet for easy access to your card.

You may also use it for your mobile orders on the MyDisneyExperience app on your mobile device. This acts just like a gift card!

To check your balance, go to the Disney Gift Card website.

The great thing about this Dining Promo Card is you can use it at both table-service restaurants and quick-service! There is no limit on how much of the promo card you can spend in a day, you may decide to spend it all at once, or spread it out during your stay.

Although it isn't the Dining Plan we've been looking for, it's a step forward in the right direction!
