Celebrating Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary

If you ever have been to Walt Disney World, you will remember the first time you walked down main street, gazing at Cinderella’s Castle in the distance and smiling ear to ear. 50 years later, we feel the same way. We waited patiently for October 1, 2021, and now the celebrations are here for us to enjoy until April 1, 2023.

Even though we have so much going on in the world, it is nice to distance ourselves in a Magical place. Almost four months into the 50th Celebrations, the excitement is still there. As you walk through each park and see the celebration transformations, the cast members all decked out in their EARidescent clothing, and the beautiful collections that have become available for purchasing. Every spot you look, the colors dazzle your eyes with joy, and you are taken to that special feeling which is known as “Our Happy Place”.

Each park will light up your eyes with spectacular night shows with Beacons of Magic. The dazzling shows will light up the sky’s at:

• Cinderella’s Castle (Magic Kingdom)

• Tree of Life (Animal Kingdom)

• Spaceship Earth (Epcot)

• Tower of Terror (Hollywood Studios).

While you are enjoying the parks make sure you are on the lookout for the 50 Gold Gilded Character Sculptures throughout all 4 parks and why not enjoy one of the 50th Celebration drinks like EARidescent Sip-a-Bration, the many desserts and snacks that are available throughout the parks or head over to Casey’s Corners for the 50th Celebration Hot Dog.

Disney has not disappointed us with their flare – they have given us a Celebration that will not be forgotten for many years.
