10 Disney Park Bag MUST HAVE Essentials

Updated: Feb 5, 2022

Heading to the park? Don’t know what to bring? Let us help you!

Here are 10 MUST HAVES to pack in your park bag for your next Walt Disney World trip!

Sunscreen

There is NO WAY your skin will survive a full day in the sun in Florida without putting on sunscreen, unless you would like to look like Sebastian, of course. We prefer the spray sunscreen because it’s quick and easy to apply, but any sunscreen will do!

Phone Charger/Portable Charger

Whether it’s checking wait times on the My Disney Experience app or finding rides to use your Genie+, or taking photos, you need a charged phone. Bring a charger or a portable charger for your phone!

Poncho/Rain Jacket

If you’ve been to Florida before, you know it can, without warning, start to rain. Be prepared by bringing a poncho or rain jacket. If you don’t have one, the parks have them available for purchase in the merchandise stores – they are even Disney park themed! Don’t let the rain stop you from experiencing the magic of Disney, just bring a poncho!

Hand Sanitizer

Keep clean and germ free in the parks by bringing your own sanitizer! If you’ve ever been to a Disney park, you know how clean the parks are kept and that’s all thanks to the amazing cast members! But there’s no harm in keeping sanitizer close by.

Reusable Water Bottle

BRING WATER - your body will THANK YOU! Reusable water bottles are a great way to reduce waste and plastics while also keeping hydrated throughout the day.

Sunglasses

It gets mighty sunny in central Florida! Save your eyes from squinting all day and bring sunglasses.

Wet wipes

For all those deliciously messy and sticky snacks, bring wet wipes! It’ll save you a trip to the bathroom just to wash your hands.

My Disney Experience

It doesn’t go in your bag, but trust us when we say this is ESSENTIAL to have! Download it on your smartphone and it will be your go to app to navigate the parks.

First aid kit

You never know what can happen during a day at the park, so be prepared and bring a first aid kit. Especially for blisters, you’d hate for a blister to ruin your day at the park, so bandages or blister packs are great to have!

Small wallet

We recommend a small wallet or card holder with only what you’ll need such as identification, credit/debit cards, cash.

Aside from park bag essentials, make sure you have your magic band and, of course, ears of your choice (Also available for purchase at merchandise stores all around Disney parks).

Don’t over pack your park bag! What may not weigh that much at the start of your day is going to feel like it weighs 10x more at the end of the day.

Have fun experiencing the magic!

*Keep in mind COVID restrictions at the time of your visit, masks may be required in certain areas of the park.
